Something about me...
Selecting a golf instructor is not like choosing the "right" partner for life. But still it's nice to know who you are dealing with ...
Where I come from...
I was born in 1967 in Halifax, England. After my school days I started and completed a 5-year apprenticeship as a golf professional at Bradley Park GC, and then worked as a teaching professional at clubs in Baildon and Shipley, before I left the island in 1989.
My way to Bad Griesbach 'Europe's Largest Golf Resort'.
After a short stop in Kitzbühel. I have lived in Bad Griesbach since 1992 and teach at the GOLF RESORT. The moment fell in love with Bavaria, it's nature, people, my job and the working conditions are certainly among the best in Europe. In addition to my English passport, I have also German citizenship since 2018.
Golf (teacher) with enthusiasm and passion
Whether the word occupation is derived from the word calling or not, I love golf and it gives me pleasure to introduce people to golf, to challenge and encourage every golfer within the scope of their willingness and their possibilities. That's why my job is my calling!

Away from the golf course
In my spare time when I'm not with my family. I enjoy fishing and cycling. The nature, the quietness, the seclusion are a welcome balance to my job. There is a lot to see and discover in the region - in addition to the great cities and Bavarian villages. I enjoy the luxury of living where others go on vacation.
Golf definitely goes through the stomach
Good golf can only be played with good food and even if it's just an excuse, it makes you happy. Even if I like to experiment with food, I can't get past pizza, pasta and a burger at least once during the month. Bacon and Beans are only available at home, of course.. So I really enjoy a Bavarian Beer, especially in summer, even if its just a excuse to have a meal :-).
